От енергията на „(What's So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love & Understanding“ и „Oliver's Army“ до емоцията в „Man Out Of Time“, „Shipbuilding“, „I Want You“ и епичната „God Give Me Strength“, всяка песен демонстрира неподражаемия му лирически гений.

„The Very Best Of Elvis Costello“ е задължителен диск за всеки заклет фен и перфектно допълнение към колекцията за всеки, който иска да се запознае с най-доброто от британския алтернативен рок и ню уейв.
