Released on limited edition 180-gram virgin vinyl by Key Records, this release captures Davis' complete legendary concert at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on December 8, 1957. Recorded just three days after laying down his soundtrack for Louis Malle's film Ascenseur pour l'échafaud, Davis performs alongside the exact same stellar group - tenor saxophonist Barney Wilen, pianist René Urtreger, bassist Pierre Michelot, and drum innovator Kenny Clarke.
