Ortofon 2M Mono Cartridge

The Ortofon 2M Mono is a premium Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge engineered specifically for the playback of microgroove mono vinyl records. By using a specialized engine that only picks up horizontal signal components, the 2M Mono ignores the vertical movement that causes "surface noise" and rumble on older records, resulting in a dead-silent background and a powerful, centered sonic image.
